The story of Beaujolais Nouveau:
The tradition began in the 19th century, but it was in 1951 that the first official release took place, sparking an annual celebration.
By the 1960s, Beaujolais producers had turned it into a true fête, and by the 1980s it was officially set for the third Thursday of November (in this case, the 20th of November 2025) – a date now circled on every wine lover’s calendar!
